Sing in Harmony with Heart & Voice Learning Tracks!

                        Picture
You can learn to sing psalms and hymns with joy and skill...practice singing a harmony part with the learning tracks at Heart & Voice.  Choose a psalm or hymn, select your part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass), listen to that part over and over until you feel confident.  Now you are ready to sing that part with the full-mix version of the song.  It's easy!  Choose from the Learning Tracks Library over on the left and try a psalm, hymn or carol.

                        H&V is forming a choir...want to join?

                        Picture
Calling all singers! Teens, college students, older adults...if you love to sing to the Lord, here's an opportunity to serve Him by singing. We are looking for sopranos, altos, tenors and basses to join our choir. We are looking for singers with some choir or chorus experience, but if you have a good voice, can harmonize, and learn quickly...we want you!  If you live on Long Island or in the New York metropolitan area (and don't mind a little travel) our practice sessions will be held in Suffolk County (the location to be determined). There will be learning tracks for the all the songs...practice sessions are not the place to learn the music, but rather to polish the music you have learned.

The Heart & Voice Singers will perform a benefit concert during the Christmas Season, as well community hymn sings, performances at nursing homes, and other venues. Our goal is to sing praise to the Lord through the skillful singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in order to encourage others in the joy of the Lord. The Heart & Voice Singers is a choir designed to serve...so if you love to serve with music, please sign up now to receive more information.

                        New Arrangement ~ New Carol

                        Picture
Here is another Joe Johnson arrangement of H&V Christmas carol, "Arise and Sing".  Written in the Barbershop Style, "Arise and Sing" now has a chorus and tag. We hope to have a quartet or men's chorus sing this for the website.  Here is the full-mix instrumental recording, and the score...Merry Christmas!  You can find the learning tracks here.

Men of God ~ new arrangement

                        Picture
H&V original hymn, Men of God, is now arranged in the barbershop style.  One of the top barbershop arrangers, Joe Johnson, graciously agreed to do this for us.  Here is what he says about the ministry of H&V:
"Heart & Voice is an excellent concept for the encouraging and teaching of four-part singing in church worship services. I am both humbled and proud to be a part of this tremendous effort, and I look forward to helping make it grow for years to come."

Listen to the instrumental full-mix below...the score is there as well.  Learning tracks are available here.
