President : Rev. Brian L. Penney is the pastor of Christ Covenant Church of Copiague, NY, and founder of Heart & Voice. Pastor Penney has experience as a lyricist and musician, and has taught 4-part harmony Singing Schools for the past few years.
Vice President: Rev. John G. Fleischmann is the pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Moriches, NY, and co-founder of Heart & Voice. Pastor Fleischmann is a musician, lyricist and composer. He has written numerous musical pieces for worship settings and special occasions.
Secretary : Rev. Ronald S. Weinbaum is the pastor of the King's Chapel in Brooklyn, NY. Pastor Weinbaum is a teacher, conference speaker and has training in the dramatic arts.
Treasurer : Mr. Jonathan A. Penney is a Christian businessman, musician (French Horn), and has long experience in 4-part harmony singing. Mr. Penney has taught Singing Schools in local churches.
Accompanist/Arranger: Richard Irwin is well known as an Internet Entrepreneur as well as a writer, composer, arranger and singer. His popular web site hymnswithoutwords.com has thousands of visitors each month who download his arrangements of hymns. He lives on the Marlborough Downs in Wiltshire, England with his wife Nicky and has two children. He is Director of Music for the Parish of Holy Cross Chiseldon.
Learning Track Singing Specialist:
Daniel Gillis has been singing for over 30 years. He has performed as tenor soloist in various churches and cathedrals. In 2002, he began singing as a classical counter-tenor, and since then he has sung in both ranges. For example, he has sung as both tenor and counter-tenor soloist in Handel's Messiah. He has sung as soloist with a number of excellent choirs, including Musica Divina, 17 Voyces, The Bach Choir, Cantata Singers and St Matthew's Choir. Listen to more of Daniel's singing at
